Today Madame discovered another little piece of magick hiding in plain sight within her Queendom.
Beneath the leaves of her money tree reclines a small figure known as the Sleeping Lady of Malta.
The original Sleeping Lady was discovered within the ancient subterranean chambers of the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum in Malta. Thousands of years old, she lies peacefully upon her side, her head resting upon her hand.
Her original meaning remains something of a mystery, yet here she is, thousands of years later, resting beneath the money tree in Madame’s garden.
What a delicious image of abundance.
Not a woman frantically shaking the tree and pulling at its branches, counting its leaves, or demanding to know whether there will be enough tomorrow.
She rests.
And Madame sees in her something far more interesting than inactivity.
The Sleeping Lady embodies, to Madame, the state of Being from which the state of Creation emerges.
To simply be.
Be here now.
Her body is not braced against life.
She is not preparing herself against the next catastrophe. She is not attempting to secure every possible outcome before allowing herself to soften.
The Sleeping Lady rests within life, and from that state of Being, something emerges:
Creation.
Abundance consciousness is not the absence of action. It is the absence of panic beneath it.
Madame can tend her garden and make art, establish boundaries, cultivate relationships, make decisions, tend her Queendom, and participate fully in the practical architecture of her life.
None of this requires the body to live in a state of emergency.
Every act does not have to be accompanied by the internal cries:
Quick.
Secure it.
Don’t lose it.
There might not be enough.
Can the hands create while the body remains here?
Soft.
Present.
Unbraced.
The Sovereign Nervous System
This discovery arrives during a period of uncertainty for Madame.
There are questions that Madame cannot yet answer. And, in fitting with the ever-changing conditions in this material realm, Madame’s conditions are also changing.
Decisions will need to be made, and the future has not yet revealed its shape.
Before certainty arrives, Madame continues to nurture, nourish, and cultivate her garden without knowing what tomorrow will bring.
The old survival consciousness is:
I will relax when I know I am safe.
When the outcome is known.
When there is enough.
When the future has given its guarantee.
The sovereign nervous system is now learning another way.
It does not require Madame to manufacture certainty before she can inhabit herself.
The sovereign nervous system asks Madame to remain present while uncertainty exists.
It asks Madame to use her discernment.
To tend to matters.
To make.
To breathe.
To be.
No more self-abandonment.
Life asks for participation.
For Madame’s participation in peace, not panic.
Panic need not be the price of participation.
